This is a friendly reminder that my print prices will be increasing on August 18th – just four days from now!
My matted, signed, limited-edition 16×20 prints will increase from $325 to $450. 20x24s will go from $475 up to $650, 24x30s from $750 to $975, and 30x40s from $1100 to $1350.
But you still have time to order a print at the current price! Virtually any photograph from my blog or website is available as a print. Why the cost increases? For 16 x 20 print there is an almost 40% increase?

The galleries I work with have wanted me to raise prices for a long time, to be more in line with their other photographers. Even after the increase my prices will still be on the low end compared to most other photographers at The Ansel Adams Gallery. And when I looked at my time and the rising cost of materials, it made sense to raise the prices, otherwise it wouldn’t be worthwhile to sell prints – especially in the smaller sizes, like 16×20.

Now you mentioned that “16 x 20” is a small size for a print. That begs the question…what size of print is considered “medium”…how about “large”?
