The Out of Chicago Live online photo conference last month was so much fun. I think everyone who participated relished the opportunity to focus their attention on photography for a few days, rather than on the coronavirus. And the lineup of speakers and presentations was outstanding. I got to see some of the presentations live, but there were many, many others that I missed, so I’ve been catching up by watching the recordings of the sessions.
And you can do that too, even if you didn’t attend the conference as it was happening. Every session was recorded, so you can enroll in the conference after the fact and see them all – over 100 sessions, including presentations, tutorials, panel discussions, and image reviews. You can find more information, including a complete list of every session, here:

Hi Michael,
Fun, useful, thought provoking, a great way to spend a weekend, and I still have a ton of the recorded sessions to go through.
Thanks again for giving it a shout out before it happened.
Glad you enjoyed it Doug!
Dear Michael, Thank you for letting us know about the conference. Of the sessions I was able to watch during the conference, I thought that yours and Sarah Marino’s were thoughtfully organized, and contained a lot of information. Looking forward to making my way through some of the other sessions.
Thanks Vivienne! I’ve been working my way through the other sessions too, and have been enjoying it.
Capturing the Mood sounds like a really good presentation to hear but I just didn’t have the time or $$. Are you planning on putting up a blog on this topic? I really enjoy your connection to the emotional aspects of photography and Capturing the Mood sounds like it has great potential.
I have written blog posts about this topic before, though the presentation is quite different. Here’s one of the blog posts:
